Environmental Efforts
Philosophy
We at Technos Co., Ltd. see “Conservation of the Earth’s environment” as the major issue for everyone around the world. In order to hand down the rich and beautiful Earth to the next generation with greater friendliness to natural environments, we will build an ideal environment management system according to ISO14001 and tackle tough tasks to ensure the sustainment and improvement of the environment on a company-wide basis.
Action Agenda
We at Technos Co., Ltd. will act with a sense of mission to reduce environmental impact through our business activities with particular emphasis on manufacturing and selling wiping cloths for clean-room use and cutting various types of high-functionality textiles.
- We will evaluate environmental impact caused by our activities to realize a continuous improvement and pollution prevention of the following items:
(1) Promotion of the reduction and recycling of industrial wastes such as waste plastics,
discarded packing materials and others
(2) Reduction in energy used (Electricity, Gas)
(3) Reduction of water consumption by recycling waste washing water
(4) Effective use of copying paper
(5) Promotion of proposal and sale of ecologically friendly products
(6) Promotion of purchase of ecologically friendly products
(7) Promotion of community environmental safeguard activity
- We will comply with regulations, by-laws and agreements for environmental protection in addition to other requirements we agree to.
- In order to sustain and improve the environment, we will set our goal and objective of environmental protection and lay out action programs. Necessary periodic reviews will be implemented.
- We will make this action agenda known to all our employees by putting up the notices of the agenda and distributing them to the employees; further, such agenda will be disclosed to the public at large.
